Space³

SPACE OPTIMIZED. MODULAR. AFFORDABLE.

Crystal Cabin Award Winner 2025 – “Accessibility” Category

Space³ was honored with the prestigious Crystal Cabin Award in April 2025, recognizing Diehl Aviation’s pioneering work in creating accessible cabin environments.

This modular lavatory concept reimagines how cabin space can be used. By combining optimized architecture with high adaptability, Space³ enables the installation of additional lavatories and up to four extra passenger seats – all while elevating accessibility, hygiene, and passenger comfort.

Accessibility Re‑Defined

In PRM Mode, two lateral lavatories merge into one spacious, wheelchair‑accessible unit connected by a central door. Wide front doors, DOT compliance, touchless operation, and ergonomically designed handholds offer a safe, seamless, and dignified experience for passengers with reduced mobility.

This breakthrough in inclusive cabin design was a key reason for Space³ receiving the industry’s highest recognition.

Maximizing Cabin Efficiency

Space³ is engineered to free up valuable cabin space. Depending on aircraft layout, airlines can accommodate up to four additional seats – increasing capacity without compromising on accessibility or operational efficiency.

Modular Structure for Ultimate Flexibility

With its modularity, Space³ supports late‑stage configuration changes and ensures high re‑use of components. This reduces operational costs and offers airlines significant flexibility throughout the cabin lifecycle.
