Diehl Controls under new leadership

Dipl.-Ök. Carsten Wolff (48) has been appointed President of the Corporate Division Board of Diehl Controls and member of the Diehl Executive Board effective August 1 this year. Previously, Mr. Wolff was member of the management board of KOSTAL Automobil Elektrik headquartered in Lüdenscheid. KOSTAL is a family-owned company in the automotive sector with sales of € 2.5 billion and approximately 20,000 employees.

After passing his Abitur, Mr. Wolff completed an apprenticeship as automotive mechanic at Porsche in Stuttgart and subsequently started to study economics at the university in Witten/Herdecke. In 2000, Mr. Wolf started his career at Kostal Automobil Elektrik in the business areas corporate planning and purchasing. Afterwards, from 2005 to 2010 he worked as Managing Director of Kostal Brazil and from 2010 to 2018 he was General Manager of global sales. Since 2018, he has been CEO of Kostal North America and was in charge of global sales of Kostal Automobil Elektrik as part of the managing board at the same time.
