Diehl Controls continues to drive its HVAC/R growth strategy internationally in 2023. At the start of the year, the company is presenting its portfolio outside Europe for the first time at the US trade fair AHR Expo and the HVAC/R Forum in China.

The international trade community for HVAC/R solutions will meet from February 6 to 8, 2023, in Atlanta (Georgia) at the US trade show AHR Expo. Diehl Controls, the expert for innovative HVAC/R solutions used in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, will be among the exhibitors. The technology company from Wangen, Germany, is implementing a global growth strategy in the HVAC/R sector, which differentiates itself from the competition through innovative technologies and a worldwide presence. The driving force behind this growth is, among others, Diehl inverters - they are central components in heat pumps, air conditioners and refrigeration units. More than any other technology, heat pumps symbolize the energy revolution that has begun. According to a McKinsey study, heat pumps could account for about 90 percent of sales of new heating equipment by 2050 - today, the figure is only 35 percent.

That's why the focus at AHR Expo 2023 will be on Diehl's new Generation 7 inverter technology. It enables higher energy efficiency through its integrated SIP topology. With integrated active PFC, it makes an important contribution to grid stability. It also features a wide range of data acquisition and monitoring functions.

Generation 7 inverters will also play a central role at the Chinese HVAC/R Forum. At the event, which will be held in Foshan from February 16 to 18, 2023, Diehl Controls will present its solutions to the trade audience.

In addition, Diehl Controls will use AHR Expo 2023 and the HVAC/R Forum to showcase its innovative human machine interface (HMI) applications. The HMI portfolio ranges from classic seven-segment displays to large-scale IoT integrated TFT displays. State-of-the-art HMIs with touchscreen or gesture control, mainboards as well as IoT interfaces are developed by Diehl Controls on a customer-specific basis, on request also as complete units, to simplify and accelerate final assembly at the customer's site.

"At the start of the year, we are using the AHR Expo and the HVAC/R Forum to present our customers the new Diehl technologies around the topics of energy efficiency and user experience, says Carsten Wolff, President of the Diehl Controls Division Board. "The trade show appearances are part of our global growth strategy as a full-development partner to our customers in the HVAC/R sector."
