New collaborative space in Everett facility and envisaged procurement representation boost presence in region

Diehl Aviation is attending this year’s Annual Conference of the Seattle-based Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA), taking place at Lynnwood (WA) Convention Center February 4th–6th, highlighting its commitment to the market in North America, as well as its presence as member of the aerospace industry in the region. The annual PNAA event is a prominent opportunity for aerospace industry players to monitor business trends and developments in a prime location of the industry worldwide.

Diehl, a Boeing supplier since the early 1990s, is continuing to grow its presence in the Pacific Northwest that started with an office in Everrett (WA) in 2011. Most recently at the beginning of 2020, Diehl Aviation has created a space within this facility that allows for true customer collaboration, demonstrating both serial products and product innovation features to visitors.

In the future, Diehl Aviation will enforce its supplier base in the region. For this purpose, the company is in the process of setting up a procurement representation for North America, taking into account results of its continuous monitoring of opportunities on the market place in the region.

The company has expanded its footprint in North America ever since a first office was set up in the USA in 1987 in order to ensure proximity and an appropriate front end presence to customers. By early 2020, this has mounted up to Diehl Aviation US facilities in Sterrett (AL), Everett (WA), Charleston (SC) and Mobile (AL), as well as Montreal (Canada), covering the corporate functions Sales and Marketing, Customer Service and On-Site-Support.

Diehl Aviation is a division of Diehl Stiftung & Co. KG and combines all aviation activities of Diehl Group under one roof. In the aviation industry, Diehl Aviation – including Diehl Aerospace (a joint venture with Thales) – is a leading system supplier of aircraft system and cabin solutions. Diehl Aviation currently has around 6,000 employees. Its clients include leading aircraft manufacturers Airbus (both airplanes and helicopters), Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer, as well as airlines and operators of commercial and business aircraft.
