Joint market approaches will open exciting business opportunities for aircraft cabin upgrades

Diehl Aviation and HAECO Cabin Solutions (HCS) have signed a preferred strategic commercial agreement in the field of upgrade solutions for commercial aircraft cabin.

Both companies are market leaders in their respective business fields: Diehl Aviation is a full service provider with design, engineering, qualification, manufacturing and service competences for cabin interior solutions, offering – together with its affiliates – a full rate product portfolio for the aerospace market. HCS provides a comprehensive suite of cabin interiors products and services for commercial aircraft and private jets, including design, vendor management, installation and certification through its FAA Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) approval, including expertise with Supplementary Type Certificates (STCs). So in combination, both companies have a highly complementary list of customers, products and services.

The joint capabilities will cover floor-to-floor interior components, cabin lighting, galleys, lavatories, seating, reconfiguration engineering, certification and installation for cabin upgrade requirements of airlines and MRO providers around the world.

The new partnership with HCS is a significant contribution for Diehl Aviation to its future line-up while the company is preparing for the expected recovery from pandemic-induced crisis in the aerospace industry. Together with HCS, Diehl Aviation’s position in the market for cabin upgrade solutions will see a further enhancement.

Diehl Aviation is a division of Diehl Stiftung & Co. KG and combines all aviation activities of Diehl Group under one roof. In the aviation industry, Diehl Aviation – including Diehl Aerospace (a joint venture with Thales) – is a leading system supplier of aircraft system and cabin solutions.
