Optimized cabin space solutions on Diehl Aviation stand

Diehl Aviation is attending this year’s Singapore Airshow, held at Changi Exhibition Centre, Singapore, February 11th – 16th, with solutions for aircraft cabin features and an optimized use of cabin space in focus. The Diehl stand in the exhibition hall of Asia’s biggest bi-annual aerospace event will feature exhibits, such as an Enlarged Overhead Bin, a 31’’ Lavatory, a Skypax monument combining lavatory and galley features, as well as lighting solutions for aircraft cabins.

The company has identified the Asia-Pacific region as a strategically important market, with an active fleet of more than 7,000 passenger aircraft flying now, and a growth potential of the fleet to grow up to more than 19,000 aircraft in 2038. Diehl Aviation will supply aircraft systems and cabin interiors products to most of these aircraft as line-fit deliveries to OEM customers, but is also offering retrofit solutions for the fleet in airline service already.

In Asia-Pacific, Diehl Aviation is represented by its fully owned subsidiary Diehl Aerospace Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, set up as joint cooperation of both shareholders of the subsidiary’s parent organizations, Diehl and Thales. This company is also the base for Diehl’s Customer Service Center (CSC) for the APAC region, offering all after-sales assistance to customers in terms of technical support, spares, repairs, and related services. Beyond that, Diehl Aviation is assisting cabin furnishing by its On-Site-Support Service (OSS) in China (PRC) at Airbus’ final assembly site in Tianjin.

Diehl Aviation is a division of Diehl Stiftung & Co. KG and combines all aviation activities of Diehl Group under one roof. In the aviation industry, Diehl Aviation – including Diehl Aerospace (a joint venture with Thales) – is a leading system supplier of aircraft system and cabin solutions. Diehl Aviation currently has around 6,000 employees. Its clients include leading aircraft manufacturers Airbus (both airplanes and helicopters), Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer, as well as airlines and operators of commercial and business aircraft.
