Diehl Aviation has named Jochen Klink as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and as a member of the Division Board. Klink will also serve simultaneously as CEO of the strategic business segment Cabin Interiors.

From March 1, 2023, Jochen Klink (46) will become a new member of the Division Board of the corporate division Diehl Aviation. He is taking on the functions of Chief Operating Officer (COO) Diehl Aviation and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the strategic business segment Cabin Interiors.

Jochen Klink brings to his new dual role twenty years operative experience gained within the aviation industry. Over time, the graduate industrial engineer (polytechnic) has taken on increasingly responsible leadership roles at Diehl Aviation with a particular focus on production management in the fields of cabin interiors.

„Jochen Klink is distinguished particularly by his technical knowledge, entrepreneurship and leadership skills”, says CEO Dr. Jörg Schuler. “These are precisely the strengths which we need in order to master the ramp-up currently taking place within our industry while ensuring operational excellence”, adds Schuler.

The naming of Jochen Klink as COO completes the reorganization in Diehl Aviation. The company has carried out a new repositioning in the past year, creating four strategic business segments, each operating with its own portfolio: Aircraft Systems, Cabin Interiors, Supply Systems and Upgrade Solutions. In this new configuration, the company is optimally positioned to fulfill a huge variety of customer requirements and provide first-class, attractive solutions.
