  • Dr. Jörg Schuler

    Spokesperson for the Division Board Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

    Dr. Jörg Schuler has been a member of the Diehl Board of Management since November 1, 2022. He is also the CEO of Diehl Aviation. He studied aerospace engineering at the University of Stuttgart. He earned his doctorate from Daimler-Benz Aerospace Airbus GmbH in Bremen and the Institute of Flight Mechanics and Flight Control at the University of Stuttgart. After holding various management positions at Airbus, Dr. Schuler most recently served as Senior Vice President of Procurement and Site Representative for Germany.

     

  • Harald Mehring

    Chief Customer Officer (CFO)

    Harald Mehring has served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Diehl Aviation since November 2015. After studying aerospace engineering at the University of Stuttgart and earning an industrial engineering degree from Fernuniversität Hagen, Mehring held various positions in the aviation industry. He held several management roles at Lufthansa Technik and served on the Hydro Systems management board. Prior to joining Diehl Aviation, Mehring was vice president of sales at Recaro Aircraft Seating.

  • Jochen Klink

    Chief Operating Officer (COO)

    Jochen Klink has served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Diehl Aviation since March 2023. After graduating with a degree in industrial engineering, he began his career in 2001 at Aircabin GmbH, which has been part of Diehl Aviation since 2008. Since then, he has held several management positions focused on production, most recently as Executive Lead in Hamburg at Diehl Aviation. In addition to his role as COO, Klink is CEO of the Cabin Interiors strategic business unit.

     

  • Dr. Christoph Weigand

    Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

    Dr. Christoph Weigang has served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Diehl Aviation since May 2013. He studied business administration at Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg, where he earned his doctorate. After serving as managing director of several companies, he joined the Diehl Foundation as a project manager in 2002. Prior to joining the Diehl Aviation Executive Board, Weigang served as Executive Vice President of Commercial Administration and Controlling at Diehl Controls.
