After over 30 years of service to Diehl Metering, Jean-François Marguet will take a well-deserved retirement. His successor as Chief Sales Officer will be Annette Geuther, who brings a wealth of experience in international sales management to the Diehl Metering corporate division. She will assume her responsibilities effective July 1, 2021. Jean-François Marguet will act in an advisory capacity, handing over important key accounts until his retirement date October 31, 2021.
Jean-François Marguet joined the company in 1988 when it was known as Sappel. In 2004, he became President of the Diehl Metering S.A.S business unit in Saint-Louis, France, before being appointed head of product management, sales and marketing as a Member of the Division Board. One of his most significant achievements was helping to realign the Diehl Metering division and laying down the foundations for successfully marketing and selling new business models.
Annette Geuther joins Diehl Metering following a number of executive sales and strategy positions in the IT and Telecom industries across the globe. Mrs. Geuther’s career spans companies such as Siemens, Nokia Siemens Networks, a startup in the USA, and ADVA Optical Networking. Most recently, she was Vice President Market Development at Colt Technology Services, responsible for driving innovative go-to-market and partner ecosystem strategies including the co-creation of new, customer-led solutions.
“The Diehl Metering Division Board would like to thank Jean-François Marguet for his years of commitment, and wish him a long and enjoyable retirement”, said Diehl Metering CEO Dr. Christof Bosbach.
We also would like to welcome Annette Geuther to Diehl Metering and the Division Board, and look forward to Mrs. Geuther’s contributions to expanding Diehl Metering’s market differentiation and success on a global scale.”
