Diehl Metering’s Saint-Louis site in France has once again been awarded the Gold recognition level on the EcoVadis sustainability audit platform. Compared to 2020, the site improved its overall sustainability score and is now positioned in the top 4% of companies in the sector defined as “Manufacture of measuring, testing, navigating and control equipment; watches and clocks industry”.

EcoVadis rates companies out of 100 for their performance in sustainability, while the EcoVadis carbon scorecard provides an independent assessment of a company's carbon management system and performance. The overall score for our Saint-Louis site increased from 66 in 2020 to 69/100 this year. Furthermore, in the “sustainable procurement” category, EcoVadis awarded us a 10 point increase to reach a score of 60/100.

The improved score reflects our efforts to embed sustainability into the core of our company, and to work daily to enhance our performance. The EcoVadis rating system focuses on four key categories: environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement – and all four are high priorities for Diehl Metering.

Looking ahead, we want to extend the EcoVadis assessment within Diehl Metering. To achieve this, we are considering organizing a global evaluation of all our sites.
