Is Ariba really free for me?
SAP Ariba distinguishes between two account types: the Standard Account and the Enterprise Account. In order to receive orders from us in the future, conclude contracts with us, exchange documents and make catalogs available, the free standard account is sufficient. The use of SAP Ariba for your collaboration with Diehl is therefore free of charge for you.
Only if you want to use additional functions such as ERP integration, payment and shipment tracking, etc. via the Ariba network, or if you need SAP's help in creating and managing catalogs, you'll need a paid Enterprise Account. You can find more information about the account types here:
-
What if I already have an Ariba network account?
If you already have an Ariba network account, you can skip the first part of the registration and start registering with Diehl directly after logging into the Ariba network.
-
Do I need to provide an interface to your systems (EDI, etc.)?
No, you do not need a direct connection of your systems to our ERPs in order to register and receive purchase orders and tender documents via SAP Ariba later in the business relationship.
-
What if I don't want to register?
In the future, orders and tenders at Diehl will only be processed via Ariba. This means that if you decline to register, we will no longer be able to order from you or consider you for tenders in the future.
-
I do not receive invitations by email. How can I ensure that invitations and information arrive in my inbox?
Invitations are sent to the email addresses that are on file in your account. If they are not in your inbox, please check the spam folder of your email account. To receive emails in your inbox in the future, please set your inbox so that emails from these two addresses are not considered spam and are considered safe senders:

I have never participated in a Diehl tender before. Do I still have to register?
Yes, your registration is also a prerequisite for other processes, such as supplier and contract management.
-
We already use Diehl's supplier portal. As suppliers, do we have to operate two portals in the long term?
The rollout of SAP Ariba will take place in waves. With the implementation of all modules, Diehl will provide a central platform for suppliers in the future. This also includes the civil scope, which is currently handled via the supplier portal. Until the full implementation of SAP Ariba and for military scopes, two systems have to be operated.

I can no longer find the invitation email for an event. How can I log in to the Ariba network?
Please click on this link and log in with your username and password if you already use an Ariba account for Diehl. If you do not have an account yet, please ask your buyer to resend the invitation email.

I still have questions, who can I contact?
