What is the “Employeur Pro-Vélo” label?
An initiative to encourage daily cycling.
The “Employeur Pro-Vélo” label, piloted by FUB (Fédération française des usagers de la bicyclette) and supported by ADEME, aims to promote soft mobility. It supports employers in the adoption of cycling for home-to-work journeys. FUB provides a certification framework, practical guides and leads a community of exchanges.
What is an “Employeur Pro-Vélo”?
A player committed to responsible mobility.
Being an “Employeur Pro-Vélo” means actively promoting the use of bicycles. By adopting pro-bike measures, it encourages its employees to choose this environmentally friendly and healthy mode of transport for commuting and working. This action is part of a global approach to sustainable development.
The objectif of the “Employeur Pro-Vélo” (OEPV) program
Tailor-made support
To go even further, Diehl Metering has signed up to the Objectif Employeur Pro-Vélo (OEPV) program. Launched by the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and financed by energy-saving certificates, this program offers personalized support and a bonus to equip sites with urban infrastructures that encourage the use of two-wheelers.
Actions and initiatives
Encouraging the use of bicycles daily
With the support of this program, Diehl Metering has stepped up its efforts to reduce the environmental impact of its travel:
- Participation in the “Défi j'y vais”.
- Organization of bicycle repairs by specialists.
- Distribution of safety kits.
- Training in safe cycling.
The site also offers infrastructure: 54 spaces for classic bikes (mechanical and electric), 2 spaces for cargo bikes, as well as showers and changing rooms for cyclists.
A DESERVED LABEL
Recognition for our efforts
After an audit conducted by QUALIANOR on November 25, 2024, Diehl Metering was awarded the Silver label. The assessment covered five areas:
- Management,
- Communication,
- Services,
- Safety,
- Equipment.
This success reflects the commitment of our teams to improving the physical and mental well-being of our employees and reducing CO2 emissions.
WHY COMMIT TO THIS APPROACH?
Measurable benefits
In 2024, 22 employees took advantage of bicycle maintenance sessions. Feedback confirms a high level of satisfaction with the infrastructures and initiatives put in place.
