The Battery Show Europe 2024 will open its doors in Stuttgart from June 18 to 20, 2024. This year, the Diehl Group will once again be taking part at Booth B40 in Hall 8. The two represented business units Diehl Metall and Diehl Controls develop complete battery packs with power supply and battery management system (BMS). On the other hand, Diehl develops customized subsystems and components for batteries, including cell contacting systems, BMS and HMI (Human Machine Interface) solutions, printed circuit boards and galvanic applications.
The latest solutions for electromobility and battery systems
As an experienced and important development partner in the automotive industry, Diehl Metall has dedicated itself to the manufacture of cell contact systems and has been successfully producing these in series for many years. This year, Diehl Metall will be presenting its latest patent-pending innovation: The fully integrated, foldable, laminated cell contacting system (CCS).
This newly developed solution for powering modern hybrid and electric vehicles offers a high degree of flexibility in many respects. Thanks to its foldable design and the associated reduced dimensions and low weight, the foldable laminated CCS not only lowers transportation costs, but also reduces the environmental impact. Thanks to its modular design, both simple assembly and the integration of additional electronic components or mechanical elements are possible. With this innovation, Diehl Metall is taking the production of cell contacting systems to a new level.
There is also an innovative new product to announce in the field of LOW-Volt or 48V battery systems. As a leading company, Diehl Metall develops and manufactures high-quality battery systems and battery cell holders for a variety of markets, e.g. for the categories: e-Bikes, Power Tools & Industrial Applications. Now Diehl Metall heralds the next generation of battery safety with its latest innovation and presents a new generation of battery cell holders. Its compact and efficient design maximizes available space while providing robust protection for batteries of all sizes. Safety is a top priority, and the new battery cell holder meets external requirements such as UN standards for safe transportation. By combining design and compliance with safety standards, Diehl Metall is setting new standards in battery technology.
