Change in the Diehl Executive Board

Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Rainer von Borstel, President of the Diehl Aviation Division Board and member of the Diehl Executive Board will leave the company at his own request and go into re-tirement at the end of the day on April 30, 2021. Mr. von Borstel joined the Diehl Group on April 01, 2010 and took over the responsibility for the Group's aviation activities as of July 01, 2010. Under his leadership, Diehl Aviation evolved very successfully and profitably into the Group's largest corporate division.

Dipl.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. (FH) Josef Köcher will take over, in addition to his function as COO of the Aviation Corporate Division, the function as President of the Diehl Aviation Division Board and thus he is a member of the Diehl Executive Board with effect from May 1, 2021. After holding several management functions in different business areas of Airbus, most recently as Head of Production Aircraft & MRO Germany and Head of Site at Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, Mr. Köcher joined the Diehl Group as COO of the CD Aviation in 2020.
