Dr. Jörg Schuler becomes CEO at the Division Board of Diehl Aviation
With effect from November 1, 2022 Dr. Jörg Schuler will become a new member of the Diehl Executive Board and also take over the function of CEO at the Division Board of Diehl Aviation. The Diehl Aviation Division has hitherto been headed in personal union by Dr. Klaus Richter, Spokesman of the Diehl Executive Board. Dr. Schuler studied aerospace engineering and obtained his doctorate in the field of aerolasticity at Daimler-Benz Aerospace Airbus GmbH, Bremen, and at the Institute of Flight Mechanics and Flight Control of the University of Stuttgart. After various leadership roles in key programs as well as in the field of engineering and procurement at Airbus, he most recently held the positions of Senior Vice President Procurement Cabin and concurrently Procurement Senior Site Representative Germany.
