In the area of sustainability, governance describes the way in which a company organizes and manages decision-making and actions in order to promote sustainable development. Responsible corporate governance includes corporate compliance with a focus on the prevention of corruption, the ban on cartels and the prevention of money laundering.

To ensure that our decisions and actions are in line with the applicable governance, environmental and social standards and laws, corresponding requirements are set out in the Diehl Group's Code of Conduct. Diehl Defence implements and complies followswith this Code of Conduct and operates an effective compliance program to support employees in key business decisions. Compliance training courses on the requirements of the Code of Conduct are held at regular intervals at all hierarchical levels.

To ensure that our supplier network also complies with these standards, suppliers are obliged to agree to our Supplier Code of Conduct. In addition, they are surveyed and evaluated via the EcoVadis platform on the aspects of social, environmental and governance.
