For our site Diehl AKO Stiftung in Wangen im Allgäu we are looking for a:

Student (m/f/d) for creation of a thesis in the area of R&D - Computer Vision

You will help us to progress through:

  • You conduct a research to identify the state of the art, current requirements and standard related to camera systems.
  • The development of video-based 2D/3D detection and classification of objects belongs to your tasks.
  • You develop a framework for data acquisition and evaluation of sensor data.
  • You are responsible for the execution and evaluation of measurement series for the evaluation and interpretation of sensor performance.
  • The development of image recognition algorithms for the extraction of features is also part of your area of responsibility.
  • In addition, you will develop automated tests and evaluate prototypes.
  • The creation of the required documentation completes your field of activity.

You bring with you:

  • You are currently enrolled in a bachelor or master course in computer science or electrical engineering (or similar).
  • You have sound experience in Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
  • Excellent programming skills (C/C++, Phyton) are required.
  • You have personal initiative and an independent and solution- oriented way of working available.
  • Your communication skills in English and /or German are on a good level.
