Firmware Engineer for CI/CD/CT (m/f/d)

Your contribution to our success:

  • You design, develop and maintain our HiL based continuous integration pipeline and connect them with our internal tools.
  • You define KPIs to measure our value stream in the development process starting from requirements definition up to final delivery of the product, and provide tools to visualize and monitor them.
  • You train the team to work with the CI/CD/CT pipeline and enable them to extend it with their own demands.
  • You write and maintain the documentation for the CI/CD/CT pipeline.
  • You provide a build system for cross-compilation and package management for the source code to our engineers.
  • You will report your achievements to the team leader.
  • You support the continuous process improvement and share your expertise with other firmware development teams in the group.

Your contribution to our team:

  • You have a university degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable education/training.
  • You have several years of professional development experience in the CI/CD/CT environment, ideally in context of embedded software development. 
  • You are an expert with tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Git, SVN. Polarion would be a plus.
  • You have experiences to design the software development process with help of build tools (e.g. CMake, Make, Ninja …), package management solutions (e.g. PIP, Conan) and containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • You develop your solutions with following programming languages: C/C++, Python. 
  • You are keen to work in a multi-site organized agile team following the Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment principles. 
  • You speak and write English fluently. Speaking German and/or French would be a plus. 
  • You are characterized by initiative, flexibility, and ability to work in a team in alignment with the company goals. 
  • You are willing to travel between the Diehl Metering sites.
