For our site Diehl Aerospace GmbH in Überlingen we are looking for a:
Engineer (f/m/d) Avionics (System)
This is your position with us:
- As a system engineer, you will take responsibility for the development of avionics systems and equipment from the initial concept to the final acceptance and handover to the customer
- Your range of activities includes tasks of requirements engineering, the development of system and equipment concepts, system and equipment architecture design, planning and implementation of verification
- In doing so, you will work in an interdisciplinary team with both internal and external engineers and be responsible for the creation of specifications, concepts, architectures, plans, etc.
- In addition, you take care of questions regarding the certifiability of the product and initiate the necessary analyses as well as the creation of the documentation
Your contribution to our team:
- You have a degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
- You have already gained several years of professional experience in analysing requirements, creating specifications and defining system and equipment architectures for complex avionics systems
- You have knowledge in system engineering (ARP4754A, DO-297) as well as in the aeronautical certification of equipment and systems
- Ideally, you have initial experience with safety and reliability analyses in accordance with ARP4761
- You have excellent communication and coordination skills
- The ability to work in a team round off your profile
