Working student (m/f/d) - beamforming antenna system for metering

These are your tasks:

  • Evaluate receiver chips for the feasibility of implementing such systems.
  • Design a printed circuit board (PCB) based on the evaluation results.
  • Conduct tests to demonstrate beamforming capabilities using the selected chips.
  • Analyze and optimize signal processing to enhance system performance.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate hardware components into the overall solution.

Who we are looking for:

  • You improve the range of a receiver.
  • You use multiple receiving antennas to control the direction of transmission or reception.
  • You have a degree in electrical engineering or information technology.
  • You have first experience with PCB design.
  • You bring knowledge of radio frequency technology, which is advantageous.
  • Work location: Nuremberg
