Diehl Aviation, one of the world’s leading aviation suppliers, increases its presence and customer focus in China. On October 10, 2023, the company opened a new on-site support in the Chinese city of Tianjin, which included the foundation of a new corporation called Diehl Aviation Operation Support Services (Tianjin) LLC. At the same time, Diehl Aviation also opened a new Customer Service Office in Beijing.
The new on-site support in Tianjin expands the existing branch office, providing support to the A320 final assembly line, in particular. Furthermore, its new corporation, which is a Wholly Foreign-Owned Enterprise (WFOE) enables Diehl Aviation to offer more products and services on the Chinese market in the future, e.g. in the areas of upgrade solutions.
Oliver Carmincke, SVP Aftermarket Services and Solutions (Diehl Aviation): “At Diehl Aviation, the focus is on the customers. To this end, it is essential to be in close proximity to the market participants and be familiar with the specific local conditions. Our enhanced presence in Tianjin now provided ideal possibilities.”
Diehl Aviation’s new customer service office in Beijing is the first of its kind in China. It has been set up for the purpose of developing the aviation business in China and generating new business. Harald Mehring, Chief Customer Officer (Diehl Aviation): “The market in China is still growing rapidly. We want to have a stronger presence there in the future, to focus on our customers and offer them the best possible access to our products. Our new office in Beijing enables us to meet our customers in person, while shortening travel distances for potential and existing customers.”
By opening new branch offices in China, Diehl Aviation strengthens and diversifies its overall global market presence.
