On the 7th of September 2023, the aircraft supplier Diehl Aviation opened its Customer Collaboration Space near Seattle, Washington, USA. Customers and partners can experience Diehl products up close in a new specially designed multifunctional space where they can discuss potential solutions, optimizations, and customizations. This opening makes Seattle the first Diehl Collaboration Space in the United States to offer this type of opportunity.
What does the Diehl Powder Coating feel like? How do the lighting concepts work in a realistic environment? How lightweight and compact are the modern avionics solutions? These questions can all be answered in our Customer Collaboration Space, where there will be mock-ups from the ECOefficiency, avionics, and cabin solutions sectors, as well as others, ready to provide answers firsthand. In addition to models of finished products, customers and partners can immerse themselves in the world of Diehl products in the Customer Collaboration Space and test and experience essential functions and interrelationships independently. This multifunctional space promotes dialogue between customers and partners together with Diehl experts. This makes it easier to bring together and document individual perspectives to jointly develop solutions tailored to specific needs. It will also be possible to connect with experts from all over the world via live screens.

The opening of the Customer Collaboration Space took place a few days ahead of the Red Cabin Aviation Conference in Seattle. Following the inauguration ceremony by Harald Mehring, Chief Customer Officer, and Dr Jörg Rissiek, Senior Vice President Sales, Marketing & Business Development, there are already plans for the first customer meetings with aircraft manufacturers, airlines, and partners.
