On June 23, 2021, Diehl Metering officially committed to Global Compact, the United Nations’ voluntary initiative for companies to contribute to a sustainable world.

During our annual Metering Management Conference, CEO Dr. Christof Bosbach signed a letter of commitment to abide by the 10 principles covering human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of the Sustainable Development Goals. Global Compact provides us with a framework to do business more responsibly, and our aim is to bring its principles to life in our strategy, our culture and our day-to-day operations.

As part of our commitment to Global Compact, we will publish an annual Communication on Progress (COP) report, outlining our actions in the 4 key areas (human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption) and in alignment with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, as well as sharing performance indicators to measure our progress.

With the signing of our commitment to Global Compact, Diehl Metering aims to offer greater transparency to all stakeholders. This represents a new milestone in our proactive approach to sustainability, which has always been part of our DNA. Ever since our origins, we have provided solutions to help people make more efficient use of the planet’s natural resources. Today, our expanded vision of sustainability, encompasses environment, customer, shareholder, employee, society – making Global Compact a perfect fit.
