We take responsibility for the environmental footprint of our business activities.

With the support of systematic energy management, we are constantly working to improve the energy efficiency of our company. The majority of our sites locations are is certified in accordance with ISO 50001. A structured organization and clear responsibilities support the ongoing development and improvement of energy efficiency. For this reason, an energy officer has beenwas appointed at each site location to implement measures to achieve defined energy targets.

All locations are certified in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard. The environmental management system in accordance with this standard defines an organization with responsibilities and processes for operational environmental protection. This includes regulations on planning, execution and control as well as the definition of responsibilities and codes of conduct and procedures. The aforementioned certifications are renewed on a regular basis regularly renewed.

As Diehl Defence, we also support the climate targets of the Federal Republic of Germany and thus the reduction of CO2 emissions. For this reason, we calculate our company-wide CO2 footprint in accordance with the requirements of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and derive appropriate measures to reduce the company's emissions.

A large number of measures serves to increase energy efficiency, to reduce the consumption of materials and to reduce the environmental impact. These include, for example, a modern cooling center that enables the air conditioning of production areas using an environmentally friendly process, the greening of flat roofs, the use of waste heat from production areas to heat domestic water and the comprehensive replacement of old appliances with new series with low energy consumption.
