Senior Backend Engineer (Java)

Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs with a strong focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
Architect modular, scalable systems that align with product and business goals for long-term growth.
Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable end-to-end solutions.
Lead or contribute to the continuous improvement of backend architecture, development standards, and best practices.
Write clean, well-documented code and automated tests to ensure maintainability and reliability over time.
Review code and support continuous improvement by creating clear documentation and sharing knowledge.
Proactively identify and resolve technical and architectural challenges in complex systems.

You have completed a university degree in an IT-related field such as computer science or have relevant experience that demonstrates comparable skills.
You bring five or more years of professional experience in backend development.
Experience building backend services in Java and/or other programming languages, including API design and working with modern frameworks.
Solid understanding of software architecture principles, data modelling, and system performance optimization.
Familiarity with microservices, containerization technologies, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases and designing scalable, efficient data schemas.
Excellent communication skills in English, with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
