HW Team Leader - Drives and Power Electronics

Managing and developing an international application team located in Poland, Wroclaw (<10x HW Eng., inverters up to 11kW power, Home Appliance, HVAC/R industries);
Acting as a member of the Global Drives Community in defining trends, creating roadmaps and implementing tools/process/etc.;
Facilitating team meetings related with HW organizational aspects, knowledge-sharing, improvement ideas;
Supporting the Sales department with your technological know-how regarding quotation of projects/products;
Making decisions in regards of technical challenges in customer and internal projects;
Developing effective working relationships with staff and ensure that team is motivated, developed and feels supported;
Representing the team in dealing with other company departments.

Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in the power electronics design;
Minimum 2 years of experience on similar position;
Academic background, preferred degree in power electronics, electrical engineering or similar knowledge area;
Experience in the area of Power Supply, Motor Control, EMC, CE-Certification, Functional Safety;
Good/broad understanding of product development processes (stage gate and agile) as well as introduction of products to mass production;
Customer oriented and solution driven mind-set;
Well-developed management, leadership, team working and interpersonal skills;
Excellent communication, very good written and spoken English;
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and to set priorities to the team;
Willingness to travel (domestic and international).
