Maintaining exceptional quality through remote Factory Acceptance Tests Maintaining exceptional quality through remote Factory Acceptance Tests

When equipment or systems are manufactured, a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) is a mandatory step to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance. However, in the current climate, undertaking a FAT at our production sites is often challenging. In the face of travel restrictions, government regulations and company policies, it may even be impossible.

That’s why Diehl Metering in Bazanowice, Poland has devised a new tool to enable FATs to be carried out remotely. The team has put together an instructive video detailing every step of the production and quality process so that virtual FATs can be realized for customers. The video features precise explanations and desriptions from the Quality team, covering the whole FAT process and ensuring the test is properly undertaken.

With this new tool, we can deliver the commitment and high standards our customers expect while also respecting current restrictions. Furthemore, we help to protect our employees and customers during the pandemic.
