How much does the Germ an industry invest in research and development? And what impact does this have on the country's future viability? The Donors' Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany (Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft) is addressing exactly these and other questions on the topic of Germany’s research and innovation activities. Furthermore, every two years, the association awards those companies making an exceptional contribution with their research and innovation activities with the "Innovative through Research” seal.

For the fourth time in a row, Diehl Metall at its Röthenbach site also receives the seal "Innovative through Research" for its special research activities. The company actively invests in future-oriented ideas to drive technological progress. Last year, the Diehl Group invested a total of 367 million euros in research and development activities – the trend is rising.
