Product Strategy Manager (all gender)

These are your tasks:

  • Lead Global AMI Strategy: You drive the development and execution of the global strategy for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI Water/Heat) across the Strategic Business Unit (SBU), ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
  • Portfolio Optimization & Strategic Initiatives: You own and lead strategic initiatives, shaping decisions on product lifecycle, make-or-buy strategies, and cost optimization to strengthen AMI competitiveness.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: You conduct comprehensive global market, competitor, and regulatory analyses to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and uncover innovation areas within AMI.
  • Strategic Frameworks & KPI Management: You
  • apply advanced strategic tools (SWOT, PESTEL, Porter’s Five Forces, Scenario Planning, Balanced Scorecard) and establish KPIs to monitor progress and ensure successful implementation of strategic plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Executive Support: You align cross-functional teams and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership and executive management.

Who we are looking for:

  • You have a university degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, or a related field and proven experience in strategy, corporate development, or consulting, ideally in utilities, IoT, or AMI-related industries.
  • You have expertise in solution design, solution architecture, or technical pre-sales — ideally in smart metering, IoT, utilities, telecommunications, or cloud-based platforms.
  • You have a strong knowledge of the AMI value chain (meters, connectivity, HES/MDM, analytics, services) and you are familiar with business models in AMI as well as financial analysis.
  • You have excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills on executive level.
  • You have outstanding communication and negotiation skills, and excellent spoken and written English skills (French or German is a plus).
