Diehl Metering (Jinan) Co. Ltd. has been awarded a bronze medal by EcoVadis in recognition of our commitment to sustainability, with an overall score of 58/100.
Since being founded, Diehl Metering has developed solutions to help use natural resources more efficiently. Today, this commitment to sustainability is stronger than ever across all our sites worldwide. Following a multi-site evaluation earlier in the year, we achieved a bronze rating from EvoVadis – leading business sustainability rating provider.
More recently, our team at Headquarters asked EcoVadis to assess the individual performance of our site in Jinan, China – to ensure full compliance with German supply chain due diligence. EcoVadis looked at the site’s policies and actions, as well as published reporting relating to the environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Their international sustainability experts analyzed and crosschecked data to create a reliable rating.
For companies to receive the bronze medal, they need an overall score of 50-59. In Jinan, our teams hit the upper limit of this category, earning 58/100 – a very good score despite the complexity of obtaining this first assessment in China.
