Diehl Controls opened its second plant in 2023 in the Huangdao district of Qingdao, a city of ten million people in eastern China. DCQD has two buildings in Qingdao with a total area of 13,000 square metres, around 6,000 of which are used for production. The plant has the capacity to manufacture around five million electronic systems per year.
