Certifying Staff

These are your tasks:

Within our Quality department, your principal mission is to inspect and certify independently the conformity of parts or equipment, based on European/international airworthiness authority regulations and customer requirements.

Under the authority of the quality manager, you:

  • After having checked the technical documentation and the several work steps to be carried out for equipment as well as spare parts, issue of the related authorized release certificates (EASA Form 1, AAC-038, CAA Form 1, etc.) for the release/return to service;
  • Report any observed non-conformity and monitor the progress of the non-conformity handling and closing, ensuring that maintenance processes are properly applied;
  • Actively participate in change management and continuously optimize our processes;
  • Follow up and validation of our equipment as Certifying Staff prior the delivery, including delivery certificates and handling of certification steering data within our ERP system (SAP);
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the operational process and actions related to operational quality control and ensure compliance with all current valid regulations (EASA Part145, 14 CFR Part145, CAR PartV Subpart 73, CCAR-145, CAA Part145, EASA Part21G, etc.) and standards (EN9100/ISO9001, ISO27001, etc.) as well as ESD rules and quality procedures;
  • Attend to Material Review Boards [MRB]
  • Act as a competent support for our customers and suppliers (both external and internal) on quality issues and represent the Quality department in working groups;
  • Establish new procedures or update existing ones and train staff;
  • Are a competent interlocutor regarding your activities during internal audits, customer audits and audits with authorities that take place regularly;
  • Set up, monitor and present quality indicators you have established

Who we are looking for:

  • You have a good English level (spoken, read and written); basics in German would be an asset.
  • You have a professional background in quality, aeronautics or equivalent.
  • You have at least 18 months experience in the aeronautical industry over the last two years.
  • You are familiar with MS Office and SAP as well as with airworthiness authority regulation, ISO standards, procedures and technical documents (CMM, SB, SIL, etc.).
  • You have a common understanding of different technologies and the ability to analyze complex processes.
  • You are a proactive team player, with endurance and good communication skills.
  • You are rigorous, organized, reactive and have an analytical and synthesizing mind.
