Metering and Solution Engineer - Singapore

These are your tasks:

The success story of DIEHL Metering stretches over 150 years and is based on high quality products and qualified employees. DIEHL Metering has a local presence in several regions worldwide. The Metering and Solution Engineer, will be placed in the region of Southeast Asia and Oceania represented by DIEHL Metering Pte Ltd (DMSG) in Singapore.

  • You will provide adequate technical and after Sales support to prepare technical proposals, customers, and utilities.
  • You will define, implement, and commission customized solution architectures to Customer (Hardware and software).
  • You will do technical Troubleshooting for metering products, software solutions and AMR/AMI complex solutions.
  • You will coordinate with internal department as Portfolio Management, Quality, and Sales to ensure successful outcome of assigned tasks.

Who we are looking for:

  • You have a Electrical/Telecommunication/Mechatronics engineering degree.
  • You have a minimum 2 years’ experience in IoT, smart solutions, architectures, and connectivity (Radio, M-Bus, NBIoT, LoRaWAN, etc..). Additional experience in metering is a plus.
  • You bring with you (min. 2 years') experience in technical project implementations and tender management
  • You are experienced in setting up software solutions and architectures (Headend systems, Metering data management systems, IoT systems, APIs, interfaces). IT Knowledge in IP and networking.
  • Willingness of frequent traveling around South East Asia, Oceania, Middle East, and Europe and excellent spoken and written English skills, complete your profile.
