Following an audit by Quality Austria, Diehl Metering has maintained multisite certification for its Integrated Management System according to ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO14001 (Environment) requirements. This latest success confirms our efficiency across all business sectors and the continuous improvement of our system aligned with our strategy and organizational development.
The auditors visited our sites in Bażanowice (Poland), Nuremberg (Germany), Jinan (China) and Vienna (Austria), and found that all locations fulfilled the requirements of Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
Quality Austria reported no non-conformities in Bażanowice, Vienna and Nuremberg, and all recommendations from last year’s audit of Saint-Louis (France) and Lisle (USA) were found to have been successfully applied.
In particular, the auditors highlighted our high level of competence and ability for teamwork, as well as the engagement of management and employees. They also noted our high level of organization, and our success in developing employees, products and our business.
Other positives were the processes we have in place for risk-based thinking, which form a strong foundation for decision making, tenders and people management. Auditors also praised how we have integrated quality and environmental concerns into our processes and strategy.
Overall, the positive results reflect the success of our Integrated Management System (IMS), which we launched in 2019 to help standardize our activities and ensure all our locations meet a wide range of requirements. Last year, we updated the IMS to include our new vision and mission, with an increased focus on sustainability.
Krystyna Tylek, Head of Corporate IMS, was delighted with this achievement: “I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in the audit. By obtaining recertification, we’ve shown we can keep up the same high standards at all our sites worldwide.”
