Montego Bay, Jamaica. The 27th edition of the Caribbean Water & Wastewater Association (CWWA) took place last October in Montego Bay, Jamaica. This event is one of the leading trade fairs for water management in the region, which is why Diehl Metering participated as an exhibitor and even recognized for its remarkable booth.
The governments comprised in this region and industry representatives gather regularly to exchange information concerning the actual and future challenges, as well as the issues regarding water and wastewater as a resource in sustainable development for the Caribbean market. Because of this, one of the main objectives of this year’s conference was to promote climate resilience, innovation, and partnership, in order to address this concern.
Diehl Metering shares with the governments and industries from the Caribbean the concern for water management. During the last years, Diehl Metering has participated in the CWWA and attracted the attention of the Caribbean market. With robust, stable and innovative measuring techniques and system solutions Diehl Metering has convinced the visitors again this year - underlined by a sophisticated stand concept - as an innovative solution provider.
The presentation of the HYDRUS 2, which will soon be available on the market, attracted great attention and met with a particularly positive response. Like its predecessor, the HYDRUS 1.3, the modern and intelligent ultrasonic water meter is ideally suited to the difficult conditions of the Caribbean.
Another highlight was the award of the best exhibition booth: An independent jury evaluated the visitor frequency at the stands and the feedback from the visitors during the fair. Diehl Metering convinced the jury with its individually tailored stand concept and received the "Best Booth Award 2018". Dr. Christof Bosbach, President of the Divisional Board, was delighted with the award and accepted it on behalf of all those involved in the success of the exhibition. "The presentation of the company and its products convinced all along the line and attracted many visitors to this trade fair. We are delighted about this and would like to pay tribute to it," says Geraldine Geddes, Conference Consultant at the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation.
Also in October next year, when the CWWA takes place in St. Kitts, Diehl Metering will once again present innovative solution concepts and once again enter the race with a sophisticated system.
