How much does the German economy invest in research and development (R&D)? And what impact does this have on the sustainability of the country? These and other questions are dealt with by the “Stifterverband Deutsche Wissenschaft” (German Science Association) on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Based on those results, the association regularly honors companies engaged in research in order to highlight their special research efforts.
For the third time in a row, Diehl Metall (Röthenbach location) also receives the "Innovativ durch Forschung" (innovative with research) seal for its special research activities. The company actively invests in future-oriented ideas driving technological progress forward. Last year, the Diehl Group invested a total of EUR 307 million in research and development activities – the trend is rising.
