Diehl Students' Day: Workshop “Bring your concentration to a higher level”

Once a year, Diehl organizes a Students' Day for all internal working students and interns from the Nürnberg area. The event is not only offering the possibility to inform oneself about career and job opportunities during one´s employment at Diehl, but also to get useful tips for the whole application process.

The Students' Day was held on June 30, 2015 under the motto “Bring your concentration to a higher level”. The participants learned how to increase their ability to concentrate with targeted methods. “It is very interesting to think about how internal and external influences can distract you from work and what you can do against it”, was a statement made by several participants. Furthermore the students received tips on the job application process, learned more about application requirements as well as career opportunities at Diehl. All of the participants were very interested in the commercial and technical trainee program, which was presented as part of the event.

During a tour through the Diehl Showroom they could learn more about the Diehl Group as well as the product and technology portfolio of the different Corporate Divisions. The representatives of the Corporate Divisions presented their divisions with a lot of enthusiasm. Particularly the “Retro-Watches“ in the Diehl museum were admired by the students. The Students' Day was a good experience with positive feedback from the participants, which were able to make a lot of new contacts.
