Diehl Metall Welcomes IWCC Guests
IWCC conference participants visit Diehl Metall Stiftung & Co. KG
„Eine Besuchergruppe dieser Größe können wir auch nicht alle Tage im Werk begrüßen,“ so Uwe Schmidt, Head of R“It is not everyday that we greet a group of visitors of this size,” said Uwe Schmidt, Head of Raw Materials Management at Diehl Metall Stiftung & Co. KG. As part of the annual technical seminar of the IWCC (International Wrought Copper Council), Diehl Metall welcomed 70 conference participants at the Röthenbach location.
The IWCC is an industrial association of semi-finished product plants for copper and copper alloys from all continents. As part of the yearly meeting, suppliers present their technical innovations and company tours are offered. And that is why Diehl Metall opened its doors to the large group of visitors this year.
The visit kicked off with Uwe Schmidt presenting the Diehl Group and the Diehl Metall location in Röthenbach. Due to the large number of visitors, the participants were then divided into three groups and guided through the production area at Diehl Metall Messing. The visitors were particularly impressed by the tour through the factory floors. During a get-together following the tour, the guests had the opportunity to discuss the impressions gained and to ask any further questions.
