The Sundwiger Messingwerk gets an updated certification for the energy management system.
The Sundwiger Messingwerk located in Hemer is a company of Diehl Metal Applications. The company produces strip and wire made of copper and copper alloys. Modern products with a long service life are generated from our semi-finished goods.
Within the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) the environment and energy management is very important. In the last year the energy costs could be reduced by the reduction of the compressed air compression, the exchange of the illumination in one production hall and the start-up of a second filter for the emulsion of the drawing machine. At the same time these measures contribute to saving the environment.
In December 2015 the TÜV Nord inspected the Sundwiger Messingwerk and they obtained the certificate for the Energy Management System as per DIN EN ISO 500001 : 2011 again for the production and sales of strip, wire and stamping parts made of copper and copper alloys.
