We produce high-quality wire made of copper-based alloys. The product portfolio encompasses pre-rolled wire (square), pre-drawn wire for redrawers as well as finished wire for a multitude of application areas. Thanks to our comprehensive portfolio of alloys, we are able to offer the optimum material for the relevant application.

Our wire is versatile and combines various properties:
- High electrical and thermal conductivity
- Very good corrosion resistance
- Outstanding forging and machining properties
- High suitability for surface finishing
For electronic applications, we offer wire with universal combinations of high mechanical strength and good cold formability at the highest possible elctrical and thermal conductivity.
For fine drawing applications, we offer special alloys which are cast in a certain way before undergoing thermomechanical treatment. This allows the wire to be fine drawn down to the smallest diameters.
Our wire is an intermediate product for contact and catenary cables. These are used in the overhead lines of high-speed trains (up to 350km/h or 217 mph). For this application, we offer wire made of different copper-magnesium alloys, which demonstrate both high tensile strength and electrical conductivity.
The form of delivery for our wire products is aligned to the technical facilities of our customers. There are six basic versions available. Within these six basic versions, different sizes are available in some cases, depending on the existing facilities of our customers and the desired dimensions.
During wire production, we are able to produce long wire lengths without welding seams by means of a continuous casting process. Besides production using the traditional vertical downward casting process, a state-of-the-art upward casting machine can cast eight strands at the same time. Coil sizes of around one ton are available for further processing.
