Diehl Executive Board member Dieter Neugebauer goes into retirement
In accordance with his personal plans for the future, Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Dieter Neugebauer, member of the Diehl Executive Board and President of the Diehl Controls Division Board, will leave Diehl on December 31, 2016 after more than 15 years of service to go into well-earned retirement.
In all of his duties, he will be succeeded by Dr. Michael Siedentop who has so far been President of the Managing Board of the Appliance Europe business unit in the Controls Division.
The Shareholders and the Supervisory Board would like to thank Mr. Neugebauer for his very successful work for the benefit of Diehl over so many years and wish him all the best for the future. The Controls Division's powerful international position and excellent reputation with its customers throughout the world are largely attributable to Mr. Neugebauer's farsightedness and entrepreneurial skill. He has succeeded in coping with the enormous competitive pressure in the "white goods" market by means of continuous improvement programs and effective future-oriented developments. The latest award received by the Wangen location in the "Factory of the Year/Global Excellence in Operations" contest has shown again that the corporate division is a technological leader in its field. Thus, Diehl Controls is in an excellent position to continue its impressive development of the last few years also under the leadership of Dr. Siedentop.
