Our frequency inverters control brushless motors with ultimate efficiency. For optimal effectiveness, the control parameters automatically adjust to the motor type and the current operating conditions. Depending on the application, several motors, for instance the drive motor and the discharge pump of a washing machine or the compressor and drive motor of a heat-pump dryer, can be operated with a single electronic system (multi-inverter design).

When it comes to control modules, we offer a vast range of technologies for display type, input method, and control element layout. Our portfolio covers the entire range of appliance classes. This is how we ensure the ideal, most cost-efficient constellation for each appliance, depending on customer requirements.

We supply high-performance components for all appliance classes. In the premium segment, customers are impressed by our ultra-flat system panels in a wide range of designs for front control as well as for fully integrated appliances. Included here are TFT displays in various formats and with robust touch control.

In the medium price range, we rely mainly on cheaper solutions with LED displays. Depending on customer wishes, they also come in many forms: as variable modules or in discreet designs.

Ideal for the standard segment is our basic control and display module, offering great design flexibility and an optimal cost-benefit ratio. Operation here is with micro-buttons and rotary selection switches with fixed switch caps.

Additionally, we supply scalable modules for all segments which evaluate the sensors and control the actuators. Our flexible application software makes it easy to implement customer-specific programs.

Available as individual electronics units or as part of a power module, our frequency inverters control dishwasher pumps with top efficiency. To achieve optimal effectiveness, the regulation parameters automatically adapt to the pump type and current operating conditions. Furthermore, application-specific software uses the pump as a sensor. Ideal control ensures low-noise pump operation.

For full functionality, our oven control panels combine excellent design with optimal haptics. We implement intuitive control concepts with touch buttons and central input elements with rotary, toggle, and touch switches.

Whether standard model or customer-specific design - our hob controls offer top functional reliability and great user comfort. Depending on requirements, we can integrate various extra functions such as locking, safety switch-off, load management, timers with or without switch-off function, heat boost, or residual heat displays.

We implement state-of-the-art control and display technologies in the form of full graphic displays with touch control for our oven control systems. Users operate them either with separate touch keys or directly on the display. Also available on request are mechanical control elements such as rotary switches.

In addition to the basic functions, modern hobs and ovens feature a wide range of other programs, e.g. for steam cooking or microwave heating. The functions of our customized control modules can be easily expanded with specific software and adjusted features. Controls for double ovens are equally possible.

Our frequency inverters are also ideal for controlling the fan motors in extractor fans. They ensure low noise, low energy consumption, and stepless regulation.

As the interface to the user, control modules act as one of the key characteristics of an appliance. Important here is not just easy control and an attractive look and feel, but also toughness, because the appliances are often subject to harsh conditions. In professional applications, Diehl Controls successfully meets these high demands with a wide range of technologies. Included here are LCD, TFT, and capacitive touch.

Control units need to manage a large number of sensors and actuators. Alongside a compact design, they need to be able to withstand harsh environmental conditions. We draw on many years of experience in the qualification and approval of complex systems according to all valid standards.

Professional applications, in particular, often require a three-phase connection. This frequently comes with specific technical challenges in the design and manufacture of the power modules. For many years, Diehl Controls has been demonstrating broad-ranging expertise particularly in the frequent, low-loss switching of large power volumes.
