Take the First Step Into Your Future with Diehl

Every journey begins with the first step. In the case of your future career with Diehl, this step is your application. Make sure to give it the right direction by learning about our application requirements and procedures.

How You Get Started

Our job portal is the quickest and easiest way to apply.
Here is what we ask you to enclose in your application:

  • A motivational letter
  • Your curriculum vitae
  • Your school or academic reports (if available)

If you have already had professional experience, please add:

  • Official proofs of qualification
  • Your work certificates (if available)

Always keep in mind the principle: As much as necessary, as little as possible. Keep it short, simple and neat. If your application appeals to us, we will spend the time in a personal meeting to introduce ourselves and to get to know more details about your personality as well as about your skills and experience.

You may also apply with us for different job offers at the same time. As we value people who take the initiative, we gladly accept speculative applications if there is no current offer in our job portal that fits your profile and interests.  We will hold on to your application in case a suitable position comes up. Applicants for an internship or for graduation projects should contact us three to six months prior to the starting date requested.

Application via our Job Portal

The job portal of our career website is the easiest way to get in touch with us. Here you can find all current vacancies at Diehl. The name of the responsible recruiter is indicated at the bottom of the job advertisement. For applications in Germany, France and Poland you can use the job portal tool directly via the application link in the online job ad. Please make sure to upload all relevant documents as explained above.

You can view your application at all times via your personal applicant access. You have the option to apply for several jobs simultaneously, so a potential refusal from you or from us only relates to the job application in question.

Please note that you do not have the option of intermediate storage for further improvements or interruptions. However, there’s no need to worry: The form is kept very short so that the application process can be completed in one session. In case you forgot something or noticed an error in the application, you can still make changes to your personal information afterwards.

If there is an email address indicated in the job ad, please use it for your application. We look forward to receiving your documents as PDF attachment. Please mail directly to the responsible contact at the individual Business Unit.

Please be aware that the job portal tool does not work for applications for positions outside of Germany, France and Poland. For such applications, please email to the responsible recruiter named in the job description.

What Happens Next

Diehl makes the whole process as easy as possible for you: For those interested in applying for a job with us, it is only a short way from the job advertisement to the final application.

You will get a confirmation mail shortly after we have received your application. At the same time, the application will be forwarded to the responsible recruiter, and he or she will review your documents – as will the respective executive. The recruiter will then get in contact with you.
