Master Thesis - Meter Predictive Maintenance - Sommersemester 2020

Your contribution to our success:

  • Be part of the innovation team, work on data analytics for smart (water) metering.
  • After getting to know smart metering, focus on predictive maintenance approaches for water metering devices.
  • Define and set up an appropriate (software) framework for data analytics.
  • Perform in-depth analyses of smart metering data which is provided to you.
  • Develop data-driven algorithms (pattern recognition, ML, AI) suitable for health monitoring of water metering devices.
  • Define experiments to create supplemental data.
  • Test and validate the developed algorithms.
  • Internationally collaborate with our sites in Germany and France.
  • Discuss intermediate results and closely coordinate your research with our R&D experts.
  • Furthermore, a good documentation of your results and findings is part of your work.

Your contribution to our team:

  • You are an enrolled student looking for a master thesis with specialization in data analytics / pattern recognition.
  • You have knowledge in suitable analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python.
  • You have a first experience in pattern recognition or data analytics (possibly as part of your previous studies.
  • You are confident, proactive and enjoy working in an international Team.
  • You characterize your work as service-oriented, structured and flexible.
  • You have the ability to work independently and enjoy thinking outside the box.
  • You have excellent written and spoken english language skills and if possible basic german knowledge.
