Commodity Manager (m/w/d)
Your contribution to our success:
- You will be responsible for ensuring on-time project related procurements, this includes awarding contracts to suppliers taking into account purchasing objectives, contract negotiations as well as developing and identifying the most cost effective solution.
- Supplier management (setup and auditing, development, consolidation, relationship and escalation management).
- Execution of the annual supplier evaluation as well as implementation and development of measures.
- Preparation and negotiation of agreements (supply, quality, logistics agreements).
Search as well as evaluation and implementation of saving potentials. - You will work closely with departments like R&D, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management.
- You support the determination of the adequate procurement strategy of the corresponding commodity groups.
- You observe and analyze the global procurement market with regard to cost aspects as well as the selection of suitable potential suppliers.
Your contribution to our team:
- You have a degree in business or technical studies or an equivalent completed commercial or technical training with relevant professional experience in the field of purchasing.
- You have very good German and English skills for communication in an international working environment.
- You have a constructive and success-oriented way of working.
- You have an open, empathic understanding of leadership with attention to detail.
- Ideally, you have some basic knowledge of SAP.
