Diehl Aerosystems exhibiting at this year's Aircraft Interiors Expo with expanded product range
A larger exhibition stand also including system solutions from AOA
Diehl Aerosystems, a first-tier supplier and partner for avionics and cabin integration to the big aircraft manufacturers and a retrofitting specialist for aircraft operators, is exhibiting at this year's Aircraft Interiors Expo from April 14-16 in Hamburg with an expanded product range on a larger exhibition stand.
On a 400 m2 stand in Hall B7 of the Hamburg Exhibition Center (Stand 7D20), Diehl Aerosystems will be presenting its aircraft cabin products to industry professionals. It is the first exhibition since AOA Apparatebau Gauting GmbH became a part of the corporate division in summer 2014. The associated expansion of the product portfolio will be represented at the exhibition: Alongside the current products for cabin outfitting, cabin electronics, and cabin lighting are the new areas of water supply, wastewater disposal, fire detection, and air-conditioning.
The most prominent exhibition piece is once again a genuine cabin mock-up, called the "Big Picture", which demonstrates elements of the new cabin for the A350 XWB in combination with innovative ideas such as a cabin management system (CMS), an energy-autonomous galley, and a new modular lavatory. Diehl Aerosystems is responsible for a total of 15 work packages for aircraft systems and cabin for the A350 XWB and will be at the disposal of the airlines to discuss anything regarding entry into service, or any questions on retrofitting. In addition to this, in the newly set up "Innovation Area" of the exhibition stand, there are also displays of new technologies for power supply, fire safety, and other interesting areas.
Diehl Aerosystems is a corporate division of Diehl Stiftung & Co. KG and covers all aerospace activities of the Diehl Group.
