Supplier of line-fit and retrofit cabin interiors products sets focus on enhancing delivery performance, also in after-sales market segments
Diehl Aviation – formerly Diehl Aerosystems – is attending an industry event in Singapore for the first time since undergoing a rebranding in April 2018. The company is exhibiting at the MRO Asia-Pacific event at the Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, taking place this year November 6th – 8th.
The company is a preferred supplier for cabin interiors and aircraft systems products to most aircraft manufacturers, also offering cabin interior retrofit solutions to airlines directly. On its stand at MRO Asia-Pacific 2018, Diehl Aviation is displaying its Plug‘n’Stow Module (PSM), a flexibility feature for galleys, as sample of its innovative product line.
Diehl Aviation is attending the MRO Asia-Pacific event at a time when industrial performance, also in the after-sales market segments, is getting increased attention. The company has identified customer service activities as management priority in order to enhance its delivery performance for spares provisioning and repair services, as well as increasing product maturity and reliability.
In the Asia-Pacific region, Diehl Aviation is securing a front-end presence by its Customer Service Center (CSC) in Singapore. In 2016, the company founded its local subsidiary Diehl Aerospace Pte. Ltd., which is running the Singapore-based Customer Services outlet in cooperation with its partner Thales. Since then, the CSC saw its Grand Opening in 2017, and operations being taken on at the same time. By now, the facility is offering all after sales assistance to customers in terms of technical support, spares, repairs, and related services.
Diehl Aviation is covering its after-sales activities worldwide with three CSCs. In addition to Singapore, the CSC in Toulouse (France) is covering Europe-Middle East-Africa, while the CSC for the Americas is based in Sterrett, Alabama (USA).
