ALTAIR water meter is characterized by its versatility. Its large measuring chamber means that it can be used for submetering or as a main meter. ALTAIR is a modular meter and therefore can be fitted at any time with IZAR radio reading system, IZAR DOSING or the pulse transmitter IZAR PULSE, gateway to other systems.
ALTAIR CONCENTRIC is a volumetric water meter. Its metrological performance matches the ALTAIR in-line meters : high dynamic range, very low start flowrates, low head loss and strong resistance to overflowrates. ALTAIR CONCENTRIC is compact. ALTAIR IS 90°C is a compact and very robust meter with high measuring dynamics and compatible with different qualities of water. This IS version, specially designed for the submetering market, integrates a radio module, enabling remote reading in mobile mode or fixed network.
IZAR DOSING is an electronic register with reset function specifically designed for industrial applications. IZAR DOSING is fully modular : it can be clipped onto all the water meters of the Diehl Metering modular Ti range (grey ring), whether the meters are already installed or not. Thanks to its reset function, IZAR DOSING can be used in all industrial manufacturing processes requiring precise dosing. IZAR DOSING is easy to read, as it directly indicates the volume of the liquid flow, while leaving the meter's index visible. The generously sized display (10 mm) provides very clear reading. The device operates within a wide range of temperatures (from -20°C to +50°C).
The switching amplifier is preferably used for binary signal transmission of water meters. The switching amplifier is frequently used as pulse extension relay for fast running processes. It can be used as contact protection relay or non-bounce relay when being triggered by a volt-free contact transmitter (reed switch). If required, the two binary inputs can be added to one output-channel (via turn switch).
The pulse transmitter IZAR PULSE H is at the core of the modular concept of the IZAR radio family. It can be clipped onto all the meters of the modular range "Hall" (blue ring) in a few seconds to turn them into communicating meters. The IZAR PULSE H uses a Hall sensor and allows to determine the flow volume in both directions. IZAR PULSE H offers a number of alarms against magnetic tampering, unauthorised unclipping of module and cable cut off. IZAR PULSE H is powered by a lithium cell and can be connected to remote reading system.
The IZAR PULSE i emitters are the center of the new modular inductive concept developed by Diehl Metering. They can be clipped onto all the meters of the Diehl Metering inductive (Ti) or mixed (Ha+Ti) modular range with grey ring, making them "communicative" in a very easy way. IZAR PULSE i can manage the flow values in both directions and also features alarms (cable cut-off tampering and unclipping). It may be connected to remote-reading or consumption-analysis systems. IZAR PULSE i features a clamping ring for totally secured mounting (sealable cam) and easy reinstallation on another meter.
Generation of a high pulse frequency, mainly for electronic processing (e.g. by signal converter or PC), for remote transmission of analogue flow rate values to display instruments or recorders, pipe leakage monitoring, control of pumps and valves, dosing and measuring heat amounts.
