The equipment of our plastics technology department is state of the art at the Diehl Metal Applications locations Berlin, Teltow and ZIMK. Thus, we are able to develop material compounds that meet high technical requirements. Whether 2K technology, fully automatic reel-to-reel insert molding, automatic parts packaging or process-accompanying testing – we integrate all necessary work steps in the production process after determining the layout with our customers and partners. Even the bending and stamping of filigree leadframes is included before and after the injection molding process. For rapid and flexible implementation of layout specifications, horizontal and vertical machines with clamping forces of 25-130 tons are available.
Diehl Metal Applications develops technological concepts, which meet the individual requirements of our customers and partners. Semi- or fully-automated assembly of components, HV testing or painting complete our range of services.
In the reel-to-reel overmolding process the injection molding and stamping processes are carried on the belt, while the processes are separated. During the first phase, the stamped part is overmolded and disconnected in the second phase. This technology requires a high expertise, especially in special tool know-how.
Diehl Metal Applications has a high expertise in tool techniques. Our automated production processes ensure a consistent quality for durable products.
With full performance to perfection! Diehl Metal Applications develops individual assembly concepts taking into account the specific requirements with the greatest possible reliability, efficiency and effectiveness. Even special applications such as fully automatic painting, HV testing and separation of leadframes and complete installation of assemblies including cable harness integration are integral parts of our service portfolio.
The overmolding and assembling technology requires high competences in materials, plating and toolmaking. Diehl Metal Applications provides this know-how from one single source.
The integrated manufacturing concept of the Diehl Metal Applications for metal-plastic compound systems, used in electronic and electrotechnical applications, enables significant advantages:
Diehl Metal Applications utilises the automated manufacturing for the production of metal-plastic compound systems. This offers many advantages for our customers and partners:
