The continuing miniaturisation of components leads to constantly rising requirements for the strip material regarding thickness tolerance, flatness and surface quality. As one of the few manufacturers Diehl Metall offers low tolerances of strips and wire.

Therefore quality objectives can only be achieved once the pre-rolled strips or pre-drawn wire maintains low tolerances according to the processing stage.

Companies who specialised on the stamping process need strips with narrow dimension tolerances and low residual stress. These properties can be ensured at Diehl Metall due to the 20-roll-cold rolling mills and the state of the art stretchleveling plant.
This guarantees minimal thicknesses of 0.05 mm and rolling speeds up to 1000 m/min.
